We recently spent some time in the great stay of North Carolina, staying at unique cabins high up into the Smoky Mountains, as well as eclectic boutique hotels in downtown Charlotte.

Omni Grove Park Inn

The Omni Grove Park Inn is one of the most famous and luxurious places to stay in North Carolina. It’s been in operation since 1913 and is located just outside of Asheville. The decor at the Omni Grove Park Inn is rustic, antique, and elegant – fitting perfectly with the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains that provide the backdrop.

Frying Pan Tower

Formerly a US Coast Guard light station, the Frying Pan Tower is a lighthouse situated about 30 miles from Bald Head Island, North Carolina. The family-owned Treehouse Vineyards are a North Carolina winery producing wines from the first American grape – the muscadine, which is native to our region.
